My windshield got pretty smashed by some falling debris. Everyone in the car was okay, and only my windshield was damaged. Will insurance pay for that?

Thanks for the question! In order to have your broken windshield covered, you would need to have comprehensive coverage on your insurance policy.
In some states you are able to obtain “full glass coverage,” meaning you would not need to pay a deductible for a glass loss. If you are not in one of those states, the loss would be subject to your comprehensive deductible.
