Are wheel bearings covered under the Hyundai warranty?

I demand a lot from my cars, and on the last model I had, the wheel bearings really suffered from wear and tear. If I get a Hyundai for my next vehicle, would the wheel bearings be covered by the warranty?

It’s always good to check the warranty on a vehicle before you buy it! Even though they are technically part of the suspension system, wheel bearings are covered under the Hyundai 10-year/10,000-mile powertrain warranty.
However, Hyundai’s warranty generally will not cover items that require repairs due to wear and tear unless the failure is caused by manufacturer error. Hyundai’s warranty also will not cover:
  • Regular maintenance costs
  • Expected wear and tear to components including tires
  • Damage caused by an accident
