The first thing you’ll need to do is get your windshield wipers into the service position. This is the only way to change out the wiper blades.
Depending on your model year, there are two options. For older models, you’ll be able to lift the wiper by hand. Just take the wiper hand and lift it away from the glass until the wiper arm is pointing away from the car.
For some newer models, the wiper arm is concealed under the bonnet. For these Toyota Highlanders, you’ll need to move your wipers to mist position and hold for two seconds or more.
How to replace Toyota Highlander wiper blades
