How to check Ford F-150 tire pressure

If you drive a new F-150, you’ll be able to check your tire pressure electronically via the Sync 3 infotainment system. On your instrument cluster screen, go to the Truck Info tab. Now, scroll to the Tire Pressure tab and press OK. The tire pressure display for all four tires will be shown on the screen.

Even if you have the Sync 3 infotainment system (and especially if you don’t), it a good idea to manually check your tires’ air pressure from time to time.

To do this, remove the valve stem cap on the tire. Push a tire pressure gauge stem onto the valve stem, and the pressure gauge will give you the tire’s pressure reading. If the tire pressure is too low, add some air. If it’s too high, let some air out of the tire. It’s that easy!

Besides using a pressure gauge at home or at a gas station, you might notice a tire’s pressure is low from other signs, such as an uneven ride, lethargic performance, or hampered steering. If you think there is a problem, check your tire pressure!
