So a lug pattern of 6x135 means the F-150 has six bolts per wheel. These six bolts are arranged around an invisible circle with a diameter measuring 135mm/5.3 inches.
Lug patterns are crucial, but you’ll need a few other measurements before you start switching out your wheels, including:

- Center bore: 87.1 mm

How to measure your Ford F-150’s bolt pattern
While those specs should be sufficient to change your F-150’s wheels out, you can also measure your F-150 bolt pattern for yourself.
The only tool you’ll need is a measuring tape or ruler. On your F-150 wheel, choose a bolt and measure from the outer side of the lug hole to the middle of the bolt on the opposite side—this measurement will provide you with the diameter.
