reset your TPMS
with the BMW iDrive system. And thankfully, the process is relatively straightforward. Here’s what you do. From your BMW iDrive system’s home menu, all you have to do is click car, then hit vehicle status, and finally vehicle pressure monitor to get into your tire settings. At the bottom of the tire settings page, you’ll see the option to perform a reset on your TPMS—which can only be carried out while your BMW is parked with the engine running.
After you select perform reset, you’ll need to take your X1 for a quick two to six-mile ride to complete the reset. If this method doesn’t work for you, you might need to take your X1 to the service center at your local BMW dealership to diagnose the issue.
