How do I stop my neighbor from parking in front of my house?

My neighbor has a lot of roommates and they all have cars, so sometimes there isn’t enough room in their driveway. When this happens and I’m not home, he takes the spot in front of my house that I usually park in! How can I stop this from happening?

That sounds like a really frustrating situation! Unfortunately, there’s no form of legal action that you can take to stop your neighbor from parking in front of your house since the road itself is technically public property.
In this case, the best course of action would be to ask your neighbor to park somewhere else, such as the spot he parks in when you beat him home. It could be that he doesn’t even realize how much his
parking spot
choice bothers you!
If having a conversation with your neighbor sounds too confrontational, you could also leave a note on their windshield. Make sure to be kind and respectful, but firm in your note so that your neighbor knows how his behavior is affecting you. You could even suggest an alternative parking spot for your neighbor!
While you’re working on managing this conflict, why not take a look at how you manage your car insurance, too? It’s easy when you use the

app. Jerry can help you find the best available rates on the coverage you need in a matter of minutes. You can even use this app to help you cancel any old policies you may have.
