The 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 introduced a major facelift, and with it, a brand new bolt pattern. Chevy 2500s produced between 2011 and 2019, therefore, have an 8x180-mm lug pattern, deviating from the 8x165.1-mm pattern of the 2500s manufactured between 2001 and 2010.
What does this mean? Essentially, you can translate your bolt pattern as:
number of bolts x diameter of their formed circle
In other words, the 2500’s 8x180 lug pattern means each wheel has eight bolts that form a circle with a 180-mm diameter. If you’re swapping out your Chevy’s wheels, though, you’ll need to know a few more measurements than this—such as your bolts’ torque specifications, stud size, and center bore measurement.
Here’s a rundown:
- Factory wheel size: 17” to 20”
- Stud size: M14 x 1.5 (14 mm stud thread and 1.5 mm thread spacing)
- Offset: -44 to 44 mm
- Center bore: 124.1 mm
- Wheel tightening torque: 190 Nm
