You’ll have to upgrade to the higher trim levels—either the LT or the Premier—for the most desirable features like heated and power-adjustable front seats.

7. Volkswagen Passat

Although the top trims aren’t much of a splurge, you won’t even need to upgrade to enjoy the Passat’s smooth and reliable 174-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The inside is unassuming but quite comfy and very roomy. If you just need to move some boxes, you can fold down the rear seatbacks and squeeze in up to 16 medium boxes behind the front seats.
8. Mazda 6

A top-notch six-speed automatic transmission rounds out the drivetrain for a steadily exciting experience.
Unfortunately, the Mazda 6 was not released for the 2022 model year, so you’ll need to consider a used or certified pre-owned model or hope you get lucky at the Mazda dealership.
