Will driving school pick me up?
I just signed up to take defensive driving courses at a private driving school. While I’m excited to get started, I don’t have a reliable mode of transportation to get me to the driving school building. Will the driving school give me a ride if I don’t have one?

First of all, how exciting! You’re about to start your journey to be the best defensive driver you can be. I’m sure you’re going to do great!
I have definitely related to your struggle of not having a reliable mode of transportation; believe me, I’ve been there before. However, when it comes to driving school, it’s usually up to the driving school themselves whether or not they’ll pick you up.
The best way to find out about your school’s policy is to talk with your driving instructor before class starts. With a little luck, they just might be able to accommodate you.
If not, try to see if you’re able to meet your instructor in a common area such as your school or work. Chances are, your driving instructor will more than likely at least either pick you up wherever you are or meet you somewhere in the middle.
As you begin to learn the rules of the road and head on out, you’ll want to be sure you have a car insurance policy that will help reward you for being a defensive driver.
