, you can use it to read the door’s modules and diagnose the issue.Of course, if you don’t have access to a tool like this, you’ll need to troubleshoot the old-fashioned way. We suggest starting by checking the wiring harness. Sometimes wires move enough to disconnect or even break. Look for frays and breaks, and then check the wires using a multimeter if possible.
If you don’t see an issue with the wiring, there are other reasons why the sliding door won’t open. For instance, a latch could be broken, the sensors could be clogged, or ice or dirt could be interfering with the door’s moving parts.
