Carpeted wheel wells may seem strange but they actually have an interesting purpose. Wheel wells are sometimes carpeted to reduce road noise.
Carpeted wheel wells can be easily cleaned with a power washer and a hard scrubbing brush. If you don’t have a power washer, a hose with a nozzle attachment will also work well.
