Why do I get dizzy after driving in the car?
What can trigger dizziness when I’m driving and how can I make it stop? Sometimes when I get out of the car I feel sick because I’m so dizzy. I don’t know why it happens and it’s really unpleasant! I’m getting ready to go on a road trip and I’m scared I’ll just be dizzy and miserable the whole time.

That sounds so frustrating! If you only get dizzy after driving in the car, the culprit is probably motion sickness, or a disturbance of the inner ear caused by a repeated motion or movement. If you suffer from motion sickness, you might also feel sick or nauseated after taking other forms of transportation.
Luckily, there are a few things you can try to get rid of motion sickness on your

, including:- Opening your windows.
- Chewing on something, like gum.
- Consuming ginger.
- Look at the horizon or close your eyes (if you’re not driving).
