Why did the rate of my car decrease so much after my husband and I combined policies?

The main reason you see that decrease is due to the multi-vehicle discount you are probably receiving now. Having more than one car to insure can save you anywhere from 10%-25% per vehicle! Also, married drivers tend to have a better rating than unmarried drivers.
When you combined the policies, did you make any other changes? If your address is different, the rate could have decreased due to the garaging address and annual mileage.
