Who owns Lotus?

I’m working on a report for school about the history of sports cars and I want to include some facts about Lotus. Who owns the brand?

It’s interesting to learn about the origins of sports car companies! Lotus is currently owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, which is based in China. Until 2017, the vehicles were produced by Lotus Cars Limited, a British automaker based in Norfolk, England.
Lotus cars are renowned for being lightweight and having precise handling—a characteristic iconically noted in the film Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts’ character remarks from the passenger seat of a Lotus Esprit, “this baby must corner like it’s on rails”.
In years past, Lotus vehicles were also involved in Formula One racing, with Team Lotus taking home the winning prize a total of seven times. Lotus has not produced a new vehicle since 2021.
If you’re entertaining the idea of purchasing a Lotus vehicle, you are probably curious about how much
