Most experts recommend synthetic grease or heavy-duty lithium for steering and suspension systems. That being said, each model has different needs.
For example, some components will perform better with silicone grease that can handle a wide temperature range. However, other parts may prefer a non-silicone product with a different temperature range. That’s because lithium grease is petroleum-based which degrades plastics and rubber.
