Which EV has the most cargo space?
I’m hoping to buy an EV, but I need a car with a lot of storage space. I play drums in a band and while the sticks don’t take up much room, everything else does. I’m hoping to also have room for other bags for clothing and stuff. My bandmates don’t have to bring things like makeup and girls’ stuff when we go to shows.

Traveling with a drum kit definitely takes up more room than a bass guitar! The Tesla Model X has the most cargo space at 43.5 cubic ft. (1231L of space), but we’ve compiled a shortlist in case you don’t want to buy a Tesla.
Tesla Model X As one of the leaders of the global EV market it is no surprise that Tesla thought of providing great cargo space. With an 0 to 60pmh acceleration of under 347 miles (560 km) of range and a 100kWh battery pack, the Model X has a base cost of $157,000. The front trunk is also a huge plus!
2024 Volkswagen ID Buzz If you and your bandmates travel together often this might be a great option to keep everyone’s gear in the same place while leaving decent foot room for seating. A throwback to the old hippie buses, the ID Buzz has 40 cubic ft., (1132L) of space and can easily fit 7 passengers in its 3 rows, and will cost anywhere from $50,000 to $70,000.
Volkswagen ID 4 This car is smaller at 30.3 cubic ft. (858L) but this is the most affordable on this list at a base cost of about $43,000. The lower price doesn’t mean a lower value, the ID 4 is a great car with rear seats that fold right down to extend the existing trunk space.
