Where is the Lexus ES 350 manufactured?
We’re probably going to buy a new Lexus ES 350 soon, but my wife has a thing about only buying cars that are made in America. She knows Lexus is owned by Toyota, so she’s worried that’s where the ES is made. Where is the Lexus ES 350 manufactured?

It’s true that most Lexus models are made in Japan, but you’ve lucked out this time. The ES 350 is one model that’s made in America. Specifically, it’s assembled at the Lexus plant in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Lexus ES is the only model assembled in Lexington, and that facility is one of just two Lexus assembly plants in North America. The other is in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, where the Lexus RX and RX Hybrid models are made. Everything else Lexus makes is assembled in Japan, at one of four facilities:
- Yoshiwara, Japan
- Motomachi, Japan
- Tahara, Japan
- Kyushu, Japan
