Where is the Jaguar E-Pace built?

I heard a rumor that the Jaguar E-Pace isn’t built in England. I thought *all* Jaguars were assembled in the UK. Where is the Jaguar E-Pace built?

Sorry to inform you, but not all Jags are built in the UK—the Jaguar E-Pace is actually built at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, Austria.
While it is true that most Jaguars are assembled in the United Kingdom, the
Jaguar E-Pace
is actually built on two continents—mostly in Austria, although some models are built at a factory in China.
The reason why Jaguar decided to assemble the E-Pace in Austria and China was not due to the carmaker getting sick and tired of all that dreary English weather, but because by 2017, its facilities in the UK were stretched to the max and operating at near capacity. Jaguar didn’t have the bandwidth to begin producing the E-Pace in the UK, so it reached out to automotive giant Magna, Inc in Austria, and enlisted its Chinese manufacturing plant to pitch in and get the E-Pace SUV built. Jaguar also has manufacturing plants in Brazil and Slovakia.
The E-Pace continues to be designed and engineered at its facilities in Coventry, England. Jaguar says it has sold more than 80,000 units of the E-Pace since the manufacturing decision, making it the fastest-selling vehicle in the company’s storied history.
