Does the Kia warranty cover tires?

I just blew out one of my tires on my Kia! I bought it last year, and it came with the standard limited warranty. Will the warranty cover a tire repair or replacement?

So sorry to hear about your flat! Unfortunately, the Kia warranty does not cover tires. In fact, most standard car warranties don’t.
Tires are typically excluded from warranties as a “wear and tear” component of your car. Basically, they see a lot of wear and tear, and therefore get damaged often.
Kia does offer an optional Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan that covers damages to the tires that came on your Kia—and this includes coverage for damages like driving over broken glass or a pothole.
We might be dampening your day by letting you know you’ll need to pay out-of-pocket for a new tire, but hopefully, we can offer some positivity by letting you know the
