Where is the Honda Clarity’s battery Located?
I bought a Honda Clarity, and my 12v battery has gone out a little sooner than I anticipated. The car isn’t new, but it’s new to me, and I haven’t had time to locate the battery. Where is it, if I want to replace it myself?

The Honda Clarity’s
battery
isn’t hard to spot, but it could be if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Start by finding your hood release, located near the bottom left of the driver’s side of the cabin. Pop the hood, and look for the battery terminals—they should be color-labeled. That will help you spot the battery itself. Red is positive and black is negative. Depending on what you’re doing with your battery, you may want to turn off the car and remove the key for safety. You’ll definitely want to do this if you’re working on anything electrical-related. If you’re going to remove the battery, you’ll need to identify the battery brackets and remove those.
The batteries that are a little harder to spot would be if you own the plug-in hybrid version, which has two
lithium-ion batteries
