Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1988 Toyota Pickup?

I’ve got a passion project in the form of an ‘88 Toyota Pickup. I plan to do some work on the fuel pump over the weekend and I’d like to check out the fuse too. Can you tell me where the fuel pump relay can be found on a 1988 Toyota Pickup?

You’re right, restoring older vehicles is a labor of love! The fuel pump relay on a 1988 Toyota Pickup is located either behind the glove box or on the driver’s side kick panel.
Start by tracing the wires running from the fuel pump, along the driver’s side kick panel to make sure the connection has not been lost here. If everything looks good with those wires, you’ll need to remove the glove box in order to access the fuel pump relay.
