When drawing a complicated shape like a car, it’s a good idea to break it down into parts:
Begin by sketching out the general shape of the car and the wheel arches. You can also detail the front and back of the car with Honda’s design lines at this point.
Draw the lines of the windows and doors.
If you’re drawing the front and back of the car, add the headlights, hood, radiator, rearview mirror, and door handles.
Draw the front bumper. Be sure to include the fog lights and bumper air deflectors.
Add any other body lines you may have missed in your previous rough sketch.
To draw the wheels of a Honda Civic, you’ll need to include two parts: the outer rubber wheel, and the inner wheel, which has a specific shape on a Civic.
Add in any small details, like shading.
