You’ll find the cruise control lever in the 2010 Dodge Journey on the right side of the steering wheel.
Here’s how to operate your cruise control:
To activate: Push and release the ON/OFF button at the end of the speed control lever. The Cruise Indicator Light will illuminate the instrument cluster. To turn the cruise control system off, push and release the ON/OFF button a second time. The Cruise Indicator Light will turn off when the system is inactivated.
To set: With Cruise Control on, push down and release the lever to select the desired speed.
To accelerate/decelerate: Push and hold the lever up to accelerate and down to decelerate. Release the lever to save the new set speed. When the speed is set, tap the lever up or down to increase or decrease the speed by one mph.
To cancel: Pull the lever toward you or apply the brakes to deactivate the set speed and maintain the speed in the vehicle’s memory. Push the ON/OFF button to turn the system off and erase the set speed memory.
Remember that the Electronic Speed Control System will automatically shut off when the ignition is turned off.
