Where is the Chevy Volt battery made?

Although the Chevy Volt is no longer in production, I found a great price on one on Craigslist. However, I want to make sure that it is American-made before I buy it. Where does Chevy make the battery for the Volt?

As the first plug-in hybrid from Chevy, the Volt was a popular option until it was succeeded by the Bolt. The Chevy Volt battery was made at the GM Brownstown Battery Pack Assembly Plant in Brownstown Township, Michigan.
Made from 2011 to 2019, the Chevy Volt was a great option for eco-conscious drivers. But due to extraordinarily high production costs, the Volt was eventually discontinued. Today, the
Chevy Bolt
all-electric takes the place of the Volt, offering great value if you ever want an affordable electric car.
That said, there’s no inherent problem with the Volt, so if you can get a great rate, go for it. Just make sure to lower your
