GM produces the Buick Encore and Buick Encore GX at the GM South Korea Assembly Plant in Bupyeong, South Korea. However, not all
Buick
parts are made there. Many of the parts are manufactured in Flint, Michigan, then shipped overseas for assembly. So if you want to buy American, the Buick Encore partially fits the bill—at its core, it’s authentically American.
If you want an American car that’s built and assembled in the U.S., upgrade to the Buick Enclave or Enclave Avenir. Although much larger, both SUVs come with plenty of great features.
