The 2009 Cadillac CTS’ battery location can be hard to find if you don’t already know where it is. It’s not under the hood, as with most vehicles. Instead, the battery in the ‘09 CTS is located in the trunk, behind a felt panel in the right-hand side wall. To reach the battery, remove the felt panel (which is held in via velcro). Behind it, you’ll see the battery.
