What is not covered under the Kia New Vehicle Limited Warranty?
I recently purchased a 2021 Kia K5 and read through the warranty information. There’s a lot covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, but what’s not covered?

Great question! The Kia basic warranty is comprehensive and offers a lot of coverage for new vehicles, but it doesn’t cover everything. The following items are not covered under the Kia New Vehicle Limited Warranty:
Collision damage
Damage from “misuse”
Vehicle alterations or modifications
Damage due to a lack of regular maintenance or incorrect maintenance
Environmental damage
Wear and tear
Consumer damage (spills, burns, etc.)
Window/windshield scratches or breaks
Damage from installing tires that are the wrong size
Remember, Kia’s bumper-to-bumper warranty provides coverage for the repair and replacement of parts found to be defective as a result of poor workmanship or faulty materials—not driver-induced damage.
