My 2019 Kia Sorento is the first car I bought with my own money, and I’ve been loving it. I’m sad to say the Check Engine Light came on last night, and I want to see if I can diagnose the problem with my OBD scanner. Where is the OBD port on a 2019 Sorento?

You’re on the right track to evaluate your 2019 Kia Sorento with a scanner, and you can find the OBD port below the steering wheel, to the left of the pedals. You might need to remove a plastic cover to access the OBD port, and once you do, you can import your OBD-II scanner into the 16-pin connector. You might already feel confident in your ability to

, but here are some Kia codes that can trigger a Check Engine Light for reference:- P1102: Heater circuit voltage is high
- P1115: Heater circuit voltage is low
- P1123: Long-term fuel trim air system is low
- P1196: Faulty ignition switch start circuit
- P1450: Vacuum leak
