I recently got a used 2016 Ford Escape, and the battery already needs replacing. The previous owner didn’t leave the manual, so I’m having trouble DIYing the fix. Where is a 2016 Ford Escape’s battery located?

The 2016

battery location is underneath the hood, toward the back of the engine bay, on the driver’s (left-hand) side of the car.

The battery is partially covered by a cowl that you’ll have to remove along with your windshield wipers before you can access it. Luckily, a simple 14mm nut wrench and pocket screwdriver are all you should need to get the job done and gain access to your battery quickly and easily!
