You’re certainly not the first person who has had trouble finding the Lucerne’s battery, and you probably won’t be the last—like many of the early model Buicks, the 2011 Buick Lucerne’s battery is located underneath the rear seat, rather than underneath the hood.
To access the battery, you will need to push the bottom of the seat back and up—once the seat has been moved, you should be able to see the battery.
