Where is the 2007 GMC Acadia battery located?
I had the battery in my ‘07 Acadia replaced a little over a year ago. But when I went to start my car today, I couldn’t get it to turn on. I can’t believe it would be a battery issue, but I have to check. Where is the battery located in a 2007 GMC Acadia?

GMC Acadia
battery is located beneath the front passenger’s seat on the interior of your vehicle. To access it, you’ll need a T-20 torx socket, a 10 to 13mm socket and ratchet, and a little patience. When you’re ready, follow these steps:
- Start by sliding your passenger seat completely forward
- Approaching from the back row of seats, remove any floor mats
- Remove the two plastic covers on the floor behind the passenger seat (these covers snap on and off when you pull upward)
- Using your T-20, remove the single screw on the battery cover
With the plastic covers and screw removed, you should be able to easily lift the plate that covers your Acadia’s battery. Underneath, you’ll find the battery snug in its compartment!
