car insurance should cover you in Canada. However, you will require a separate policy when driving in Mexico.

If you’re driving to Mexico with your own vehicle or a rental car, Allstate offers Mexico Tourist Auto Insurance, which is an additional policy on top of your current coverage. This policy covers:

Roadside assistance

Medical payments

Medical evacuation

Legal assistance

Physical damage and theft

Bodily injury or property damage you cause to others

If you currently have an Allstate policy, call 1-800-669-2214 to add coverage in Mexico. But if you’re driving frequently to Mexico or throughout North America, you may want to find an insurance company that suits your needs. Use the
