Where is the 2005 Hyundai Sonata OBD port location?
I’ve been flipping through the owner’s manual, but I can’t figure out where the OBD-II port is to run diagnostics on my vehicle. Where do I plug in an OBD tool to a 2005 Hyundai Sonata?

OBD-II scanners are a great at-home tool for diagnosing car troubles, but it can be tricky to find the connecting port in your vehicle. The good news is, in most Hyundai models—including the 2005
—the OBD port is located in the same place, above the clutch pedal in the driver’s footwell.
Not sure which one is the clutch pedal? Here’s how to find it:
First, open your driver’s side door (but don’t get in!)
Look in the driver’s footwell to locate your gas (right), brake (middle), and clutch (left) pedals
Look above the clutch pedal for the OBD socket, specifically in the top-left area of the footwell
Once you’ve found the port, you can use your OBD scanner by plugging it directly into the socket. Just make sure your car’s ignition is turned to the “ON” position (without starting the engine). Once connected, you should be able to use your scan tool to run diagnostics on your vehicle and identify any pressing
