The Florida Keys are tiny, but they’re great spots for vacation homes. There is both public and private street parking as well as public and private parking garages available on the island.
There are three parking garages and a few parking lots for vehicles. Do some research beforehand as some of these spots are not for visitors and only for residents. This said, there is not much space allotted for parking.
At only 2 miles wide and four miles long, the island is small. Visitors may find it more accessible to walk, ride a bike, or a shuttle across the island. It is even possible to live in Key West without a car as many residents use, mopeds, golf cart EVs and bicycles as common modes of transportation.
