Where can I find insurance for my '64 Mustang?
What is the best way for met to get an undriveable classic car insured? I am fixing up a 1964 Mustang convertible. Right now, it is in pretty bad shape and it will take a few years for it to be in classic condition. Currently, it is more of a box of rust with a motor.

liability-only
policy would be best since the car’s actual cash value would be extremely low at this point. Once the Mustang is fully restored, you will want to look into
classic car coverage
. Classic coverage will allow you to insure the vehicle for its appraisal value rather than actual cash value. To establish the appraisal value, collect all of your repair receipts and contact a local appraiser specializing in Mustangs. When the appraisal is complete, submit the paperwork to your insurance company.”
