I know Volvos are built in a bunch of different places around the world, but is the same true for their engines? Are they all made in one place, or are they built all over too?

You’re right—Volvo has assembly plants in countries around the world. However, Volvo engines are all made by Volvo Cars in Skovde, Sweden, Zhangjiakou, China, and Tanjung Malim, Malaysia then shipped to those plants.
