Where are Tesla's Gigafactories?
I just got a new Tesla and I’m loving it. I want to know everything about my car and the company. I’ve heard a lot about Gigafactories and I’m curious about them. To start, where are Tesla’s Gigafactories located?

Enjoy your new Tesla! The Tesla Gigafactories are currently located in:
- Zheng Jia Lu, Fengxian District, China
- Berlin-Brandenburg
Gigafactory Texas is the biggest of these. It’s about the size of fifteen city blocks or three Pentagons. It’s roughly four million square feet and fits around 338 million cubic feet of volume.
Tesla has an aggressive long-term manufacturing plan, so don’t be surprised to see even more Gigafactories popping up all around the world. Elon Musk once mentioned that the plan was for there to be a network of 12 Gigafactories. This will help with their lofty production goals, which include two million EVs by the end of 2022.
