Where are MINIs made in the U.K.?
On my trip to London last year, my friend told me the U.K. is one of the locations for MINI manufacturing. Where in the U.K. are they made?

That’s right! The U.K. sees tons of MINI Cooper production.
MINIs are made in the U.K. in Oxford, England. Since 2001 when the factory opened, the Oxford MINI factory has produced more than 3 million MINIs! You can actually visit the MINI plant in Oxford for tours, which have been recently reopened since being shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check out MINI’s UK website to book a ticket!
But that’s not the only place MINIs are manufactured. MINI also has manufacturing plants in Austria and the Netherlands. That’s it for this make, though—which is not surprising, considering how committed MINI is to maintaining a European aesthetic for their well-performing cars.
