The Jeep Wrangler is the only Jeep that is completely made in the United States! Specifically, they are made and assembled at the Toledo Supplier Part in the Toledo South Assembly Plant. All the components, including the chassis and the V6 engine, are also made in the US.
If you are planning to go off-roading but still shopping around, pay attention to the following specifications:
Ground clearance: The greater the ground clearance, the better the SUV can handle bumpy terrains without damaging the undercarriage
Torque: A high low-end torque is needed to power through mud and loose gravel
Tires: All-terrain tires are best to improve the SUV’s performance on off-road terrain
Drivetrain: Having all-wheel drive would be more advantageous for unexpected road conditions
Approach and departure angle: the maximum angle of a ramp which the SUV can climb and descend without damage
