Where are Hyundai Kona cars made?
I’m in the market for a small crossover, and I really like what the Hyundai Kona has to offer. However, I only buy American-made products whenever possible. While I know that Hyundai is foreign, I’m crossing my fingers that they assembly cars in the U.S. Where does Hyundai make the Kona?

Hyundai Kona cars are made around the world, but unfortunately, none of those locations are in the U.S. As of 2022, **Hyundai produces the Kona for the North American market in Ulsan, South Korea, and ships the product across the Pacific Ocean.
Hyundai Kona vehicles made for the European market are produced in Nosovice, Czech Republic, while vehicles for the Asian market — along with the Ulsan plant — are made near Chennai, India.
