Hyundai Kona vs. Kia Sportage: Interior features

The Hyundai Kona has four trim options to choose from, while the Kia Sportage has six. According to
Consumer Reports

However, when it comes to cargo space, the Sportage takes the lead with 30.7 cu. ft., or 60.1 cu. ft. with the second row seats folded down. This is still below average for its class, but better than the 19.2 cu. ft., or 45.8 cu. ft. with no back seat, in the Kona.
Critics are pleased with the intuitive infotainment systems found in both models. The Kona comes with more standard features like keyless entry, power door locks, and air conditioning. But the Sportage offers buyers a lot more options like heated or power folding mirrors, and remote engine start.

While the Kona may be a lighter vehicle, the Sportage is capable of towing 1,653 lbs. Both crossovers come standard with ABS and disc brakes.
The headlights on the Hyundai Kona got a poor rating, but otherwise scored well for crash protection. The Kia Sportage is a top safety pick. All of the driver assist features come standard with both models.
