Where are Fiats made?

I don’t really remember Fiats ever being in the U.S. until their merger with Chrysler. That said, Fiat has some great prices on their vehicles, I just prefer to buy American if I can. Where does Fiat make its cars?

While Fiat returned to the American market in 2011 after several decades, Fiats are actually made all over the world. Where a Fiat is made is 100% dependent on the market where the automobile is being sold. Originally, all Fiat models were made at the company’s factory in Turin, Italy, but today, you’ll find operations in:
  • United States
  • Poland
  • Brazil
  • Argentina
  • Turkey
  • Serbia
  • Mexico
Even with all of these different facilities, a vast majority of Fiat’s vehicles are still produced in Italy, as Fiat remains the European nation’s most popular and top-selling brand.
