Where are Dodge Rams made?

Are Dodge Rams made in America? I’m just curious because I know some Dodge cars aren’t made in the U.S. so I’m wondering if the Rams are locally made.

The answer to this question depends on the vehicle you’re buying. The classic
Dodge Ram 1500
, for example, is manufactured both at the Warren Truck Plant in Warren, Michigan, and at the Saltillo plant in Saltillo, Mexico, meaning it could have originated in the United States or Mexico.
You can check where your Dodge Ram was made via your vehicle identification number (VIN). If the VIN begins with a 1, 4, or 5, your Ram was manufactured in the United States. Canada is 2 and Mexico is 3, so you can also determine where your vehicle did originate if it isn’t from the United States.
