How do you log driving on the fitbit app?

Every time I drive my car, my Fitbit is incorrectly logging the distance as steps. I never know how far I’ve actually gone in a day! Is there a way to log driving separately on the Fitbit app? Please help!

You would think your Fitbit would know that you can’t run as fast as a car! Unfortunately, it doesn’t automatically make this calculation, so you will have to log this manually.
First, follow this setting progression in the Fitbit app: Dashboard > Log > Activities
You will be able to manually log any frame of time as driving rather than walking. You can adjust this setting before or after your commute.
An alternate solution is to simply charge your Fitbit while you drive. Your Fitbit does not count steps while it is charging.
The settings in your Fitbit are manual, but finding awesome
