Where are BMW 1 Series made?

BMW 1 Series models are made in the Leipzig factory in Germany, the automaker’s home country. The BMW Group plant in Leipzig is known as one of the most sustainable car factories in the world due to the four wind turbines on the property.
Around 1,000 BMWs are produced at the Leipzig factory each day. It currently produces the 1 Series, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer. Starting in 2023, the factory will manufacture MINI brand vehicles, as well.
