When you're driving near a road construction zone, what should you do?
What precautions should I take when I’m entering a work zone? I know that there are probably specific things that I’m supposed to do, but I’m not really sure what they are. I want to make sure that the workers are all safe, and that I’m safe too!

- Pick a lane and stick to it until you leave the construction zone.
- Remain alert to any signals, signs, or workers trying to give you instructions.
- Apply your brakes gently so that the car behind you is aware that you’re slowing down.
- Try to stick to the flow of traffic by matching your speed to the person in front of you.
- If the person in front of you is speeding over the work zone speed limit, you shouldfollow the posted speed limitin order to keep yourself and the workers safe.
