When should I replace my cabin air filter?

So, this might be one of those maintenance things that I’ve let go for way too long just because I never think about it, but I don’t think I’ve ever changed the cabin air filter in my car. When do I replace the cabin air filter?

Good question! This is something a lot of car owners never think about. The cabin air filter should be replaced about every 12,000 miles. If you live/drive in an especially polluted area with poor air quality, you should change the filter even more often.
The cabin air filter is responsible for cleaning pollutants and continents out of the air that circulates around that cabin and that you breathe in while driving. Because of this, it’s incredibly important to stay up-to-date on your filter changes—not for your car’s maintenance, but for your own health!
Another maintenance issue that people often forget about is their

. Specifically, they forget to do their annual insurance review. If you don’t regularly compare your policy with quotes from other providers, you’re very likely to end up overpaying for your insurance.
