What's the best way to remove paint from a car window?
I spilled some paint on my car window when I was working in my garage. I was painting a dollhouse for my son in my garage the other day when I tripped over the drop cloth and accidentally swiped the brush along the side of my car window. I really don't want to get it professionally cleaned if I don't have to—money's a little tight these days—so is there any easy way to get rid of the paint? How can I remove it?

“Although getting paint on your car window is a nuisance, it’s far easier than the hassle of getting paint off the body of a car. So if there’s a silver lining, perhaps that’s it!
- Use a razor blade to remove as much paint as you can and be careful not to nick the window
- Put acetone or WD-40 on a rag
- Dab and repeat until the paint is gone
If you ever do get paint on the body of your car as the result of an accident or vandalism, make sure to call your car insurance company to see if the situation is covered.
