What’s the best route from Jackson Hole to West Yellowstone?
I’m taking a huge road trip this fall and one of the places I really want to see West Yellowstone. What’s the best way to get from Jackson Hole to West Yellowstone?
Take US-191 S to WY-22 W, which you’ll use to get out of Jackson Hole.
After you enter Idaho, continue onto ID-33 W.
Turn right onto ID-32.
Turn left onto ID-47 S, then turn right onto US-20 E, which you’ll use to enter Montana.
Turn right onto N Electric St, which will take you to your destination!
In total, this drive should only take you about two-and-a-half hours to complete, so you won’t be in the car for too long! Still, you might want to stop for lunch along the way to break up the drive. Since most of your drive borders National Forest land, it’s a great opportunity to stop for a scenic picnic.
